I know you can argue here that there are much other cheaper software, but YouTube is said to be the most effective video marketing platform according to 78.8% of marketers.

So, why not be a part of an already established platform?

How YouTube Works?  

Can someone without any experience in video marketing use it? The answer is, yes!

Here is a step by step walkthrough on Going Live on YouTube:

Step 1: Log in

First step is to create your YouTube account.

After you are done creating your account, sign in.

Step 2: Go-Live

 

Click the camera icon to open up the drop-down menu.

Click Go Live to continue.

Step 3: Decide When

Finally, we are in the control room, let’s begin!

Choose the option that is suitable for you.

For your convenience, let’s create a sample live video so it’s easy for you when you go live.

After selecting the late date in the control room, you are given two options.

I prefer a built-in webcam as we don’t have to connect other tools with it.

Allow YouTube studio to access your mic to begin.

 

Step 4: Choose Title and Settings

After you are done with the settings click next.

Under settings options either you can directly go public or make it private and share with the public later on.

Click next to get a preview before going live.

If you are liking how it looks, and now it’s time to go live!

During your video, on your right side, there will be an option for your viewers to leave comments. Make sure to keep up with the comments, by either replying in your video or in the comments section.

If you want to talk to your participants separately there is an option to open a chat box separately.

Step 4: Add Participants

What about adding external participants?

Step 5: Share Live Stream

Last but not least, share your live stream on multiple social media channels to gain more views.

Live videos tend to convert far better than a normal video because it creates a direct link between you and your customers.

There are many platforms out there that offer live streaming, making it hard to finalize a suitable platform for live streaming,t keep in in mind some benefits YouTube live has:

  • Option to earn (Monetization).
